Josh Cates

Josh Cates has a diverse work experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Josh started their career at Emdeon in 2000 as a Business Analyst and worked there until 2009. In 2009, they joined ZirMed as a Product Analyst for a year. Josh then returned to Emdeon in 2010 as a Sr. Business Analyst Consultant for a few months before joining Kindred Healthcare as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst. In 2017, they joined QSR Automations as the Manager of Software Administration, and later became the Director of Technology Administration in February 2018. In their current role, they manage various teams and handles responsibilities such as business analysis, UI/UX design, software documentation, and release coordination.

Josh Cates attended the University of Southern Indiana from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Business Management. Prior to that, they attended Purdue University from 1992 to 1993, focusing on Computer & Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Josh has obtained several certifications, including Agile Requirements Gathering from Menlo Innovations in June 2006, Six Sigma Green Belt from Motorola University in June 2003, CSM from Scrum Alliance in November 2016, and CSPO from Scrum Alliance in January 2017.
