Deepak Somasekharan

Deepak Somasekharan is a seasoned professional in software engineering with extensive experience across multiple roles and companies. Currently serving as Team Manager and previously Team Leader at Qt Group since May 2022, Deepak has a strong background in solutions engineering. Prior to Qt Group, Deepak worked as a Lead Software Developer at Luxoft, contributing to the integration of Carplay and Android Auto, as well as implementing advanced media playback technologies. Deepak's tenure includes roles at Siemens Technology India as an Associate Consultant, focusing on C++ and QML for industrial automation, and at HARMAN International India Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer, where Deepak cross-compiled libraries for Android and collaborated on media service development in the United States. Deepak began a career at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd. as a Software Engineer, optimizing media player systems. Deepak holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering Perumon and a Master of Technology in Software Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
