James Vance

James Vance is a skilled Software Engineer at Qt Group since July 2022, having previously served as a Research Assistant at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz from July 2018 to June 2022. Prior to this, James was a Research Fellow at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, funded to participate in the Joint ICTP-SISSA Master in High Performance Computing Programme from September 2016 to June 2018. James also has experience as a Physics Instructor at the University of the Philippines Diliman from June 2014 to August 2016 and as an Academic Tutor and Lecturer at the High Achievers Tutorial and Review Center from November 2010 to May 2014. Additionally, James worked as a Library Student Assistant at the University of the Philippines College of Arts and Letters from June 2010 to October 2010. Academically, James holds a Master’s Degree in High Performance Computing from Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati di Trieste (2016-2018), a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of the Philippines (2014-2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of the Philippines (2009-2014).
