Joerg Bornemann

Joerg Bornemann is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering, particularly within the Qt ecosystem. As a Senior Software Engineer at The Qt Company since September 2012, Joerg is involved in advanced Qt development. Prior to this, roles included Senior Engineer at Nokia focused on Qt Development Frameworks and Software Developer positions at SIV.AG and OTLO VR Systeme. Joerg’s early career features engineering positions that encompassed PLC programming and UI development for various applications, beginning with a student assistant role at Zentrum für Graphische Datenverarbeitung e.V. Joerg holds a Dipl.-Inf. degree in Computer Science from Universität Rostock, earned between 1998 and 2004.
