Finance Director, Global Strategy And Specialty Businesses at Quaker Houghton

James Wisel has extensive work experience in finance, accounting, and audit roles. James started their career as an Assistant Controller and Law Firm Coordinator at American Affordable Housing Management Co. in 2000. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as an Information Technology Auditor at the State of New Jersey. In 2003, they joined PwC as an Experienced Senior Associate, where they conducted financial statement audits and internal controls reviews for various clients. James then moved to SunGard, now part of FIS, where they served as a Finance Projects Leader and later as an Internal Audit Team Lead. In 2011, they joined Houghton International as a Manager, Consolidation & Reporting and Technical Accounting, overseeing monthly close and consolidation for 41 business units. In 2012, they became Manager, Global FP&A, Reporting, and Technical Accounting. In 2014, they joined Quaker Houghton as the Global Manager, Technical Accounting and Compliance, and later became the Director of Internal Audit. Currently, they hold the position of Finance Director, Global Strategy and Specialty Businesses at Quaker Houghton, where they direct financial planning and analysis, accounting, and supports global strategic initiatives for several specialty businesses.

James Wisel attended Rutgers Business School from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. James also has additional certifications including CPA (obtained in 2005), CISA (obtained in 2007), and CGMA (obtained in 2012).
