Yan Zhou

Yan Zhou is a Senior R&D Engineer at Quaker Houghton since August 2017, specializing in Global Exploratory Technology. In addition to this role, Yan Zhou serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Temple University, where instruction includes classes on Tribology and Surface Engineering and Material Science for Engineers. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a Graduate Internship. Yan Zhou completed a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering at Texas A&M University, along with a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and another Master of Science in Genetics from Texas A&M University. The academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Shandong University.
