Louren Cornelissen

Louren Cornelissen is an experienced internal audit professional with a comprehensive background in consulting and auditing within various sectors, including healthcare and public services. Currently an independent contractor with Consulting Services since July 2013, Louren has also served in a significant role at QualChoice since June 2010, where responsibilities included establishing an internal audit department and managing risk assessments. Prior experience includes a managerial position at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2006 to 2008, focusing on process operational audits and compliance, as well as an assistant manager role with the same firm from 2003 to 2005, addressing financial and operational audits. Louren began a career in internal auditing with Local Government South Africa from 1999 to 2002, executing diverse audits. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Internal Audit and Finance from the University of Cape Town, obtained in 1997.
