Rick Carlino

Rick Carlino is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Qualia since February 2022, Rick previously co-founded FarmBot.io, where a consumer IoT software platform was designed and developed. Additional roles include Independent Javascript Development Instructor at DataMelon, Full Stack Web Developer at Smashing Boxes, Ruby on Rails Developer at RevSpring Inc., and various positions showcasing expertise in web development and application engineering. Rick holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University and has gained foundational skills through early educational experiences, including coursework at Yonsei University. Prior military service as Operations Sergeant and Transmission Systems Team Chief in the US Army provided Rick with valuable leadership and operational planning skills.
