Federico Garcia Sagrado

Federico Garcia Sagrado has a strong background in quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Federico began their career at Marion Merrel Dow as a Calibration/Validation Manager from 1993 to 1995. Federico then joined sanofi-aventis and held various positions including Quality Control Manager Deputy from 1995 to 2001, Production and Process Optimization Manager from 2001 to 2004, and Site Quality Manager & Qualified Person from 2004 to 2011. After that, they worked at Famar Health Care Services Madrid S.A.U. as Head of Quality Management & Qualified Person from 2011 to 2015. Currently, they are serving as the QA/QC VP EMEA & South Asia and Global Chief Quality Officer at Qualicaps, where they have held different roles since 2015, including QA/QC/Regulatory Manager from 2015 to 2016, QA/QC/Regulatory VP EMEA from 2016 to 2018, QA/QC/Regulatory VP EMEA and Global Chief Quality Officer from 2018 to 2020, and currently QA/QC VP EMEA & South Asia and Global Chief Quality Officer.

Federico Garcia Sagrado completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) in Industrial Pharmacy at the Universidad de Alcalá from 1983 to 1988. Federico then pursued further education at the same university, earning a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2001 to 2006. In addition, Federico Garcia Sagrado also obtained two specializations from the Universidad de Alcalá, one in analysis and control of medicines and drugs, and another in industrial and galenic pharmacy.
