Klarisse Gepilano has a diverse work experience in the fields of design, photography, and coordination. Klarisse started their career in 2010 as a Creative Portrait Photographer at The Picture Company, where they specialized in family and personal portraits. In 2011, they joined the Korean Cultural Center/Consulate General of the Republic of Korea as a Coordinator for Library and Research, where they were responsible for conceptual direction and design projects, as well as managing the cultural center library.
In the same year, Klarisse also worked as a Graphic Designer and Art Director at Kollaboration, contributing to annual talent shows and community events by designing print, web, and social media collateral. Klarisse also coded email newsletters during their time there.
From 2012 to 2017, they served as the Head of Photography for KCON USA at CJ E&M, overseeing a team of photographers and coordinating with the marketing team to fulfill press, advertising, and design needs for the annual Korean culture convention.
Klarisse pursued an internship at MOCEAN in 2019, working as a Graphic Design intern. Klarisse provided creative design support during their time there.
Later that year, they joined MediaMonks as a Designer in the Creative department, where they worked until 2021. Klarisse contributed to various creative projects during their tenure.
Klarisse's most recent work experience is with Qualified, where they held the roles of Design Lead and Senior Design Lead in the Marketing team. Klarisse has demonstrated their leadership skills and expertise in design during their time there.
Klarisse Gepilano completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of the Philippines in 2010. In 2016, they pursued further education at the ArtCenter College of Design, specializing in Brand Exp: Interaction Design through the ArtCenter at Night program. Klarisse also obtained a Certificate in Visual Design from General Assembly in the same year.
