Laurel Stewart

Laurel Stewart has more than 20 years of work experience in various healthcare roles. Laurel started their career as a Registered Nurse at Saint Agnes Medical Center in 1998 and worked there for three years. Laurel then worked as a Travel Nurse at TravelNursing.org from 2001 to 2003. Laurel then joined Cottage Health as a New Grad Educator/Telemetry RN and remained there until 2009. Laurel became a Home Health Case Manager at Livingston Memorial Visiting from 2008 to 2010. Laurel then transitioned to Trinity Health as a Quality Assurance professional and worked there until 2015. Laurel eventually became an Assistant Director of Quality at QIRT (Quality In Real Time) in 2015 and is currently still in that role. In 2009, Laurel also took on the role of Director 2 at Melaleuca: The Wellness Company.

Laurel Stewart completed their Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Cuesta College from 1996 to 1998. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Western Governors University. In addition to their academic achievements, Laurel also holds several certifications including HCS-D which they received from the Board of Medical Specialty Coding and Compliance in August 2015, and Certified Health Coach which they obtained from the National Society of Health Coaches in June 2012.
