Fire/Security Consultant - Outside Sales at Quality Sound

David Pattee, SET has extensive work experience in the field of low-voltage systems, specifically in fire alarm, security, and CCTV. David began their career as an Engineering Supervisor at Edwards Safety in 1992, where they supervised the drafting department and established CAD department standards. From 1994 to 1997, they worked at Sabah International as a Senior Designer, specializing in the design and layout of fire alarm system submittal packages.

In 1997, Pattee joined Diversified Fire Products as an Engineering Supervisor, where they supervised and guided the engineering department in designing fire alarm system submittal packages and handling managerial tasks. David also assisted the sales team with design, estimation, and quotation.

Since 2004, Pattee has been a part of Quality Sound, a division of Bi-Jamar, Inc. David started as a Systems Engineer, responsible for designing and layout of low-voltage system submittal packages, including fire alarm, security/access control, CCTV, intercom, clock, and nurse call systems. David also provided technical support to field staff and pre-programmed new installation fire alarm control panels. Later, they took on the role of Project Manager for fire alarm, security, and CCTV, where they scheduled material procurement and technical labor for commercial, government, and educational low voltage systems.

Currently, Pattee holds the position of Fire/Security Consultant - Outside Sales at Quality Sound, where they are responsible for achieving annual sales revenue goals, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, expanding the customer base, and developing professional selling skills. David writes proposals, follows up on sales leads, promotes products and services, tracks sales information, and attends trade shows and conferences. Pattee also negotiates contracts, writes specifications, and designs life safety and security systems.

David Pattee, SET, has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Electro-Mechanical Drafting & PC Board Design from the Arizona Automotive Institute. David attended the institute from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Tracy Joint Union High School between 1986 and 1990. In terms of additional certifications, David Pattee, SET, holds a NICET IV (Fire Alarm Systems) certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies, although the specific year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
