Alexandre Brieussel has been working in the field of optics since 2011. Alexandre began their career as a PhD student at the Laboratoire Kastler Brossel in Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris, France, and the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. During this time, they traveled back and forth between the two countries every 8 months, working on two experiments that aimed to create systems generating quantum states of light. In 2016, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Konstanz. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Quandela as a Research Development Optics Engineer.
Alexandre Brieussel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the École normale supérieure de Lyon in 2008-2009. Alexandre then continued their studies at the same school, obtaining a Master's degree in Physics in 2009-2011. Afterward, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics from both The Australian National University and Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2011-2016.
