René Ortiz

René Ortiz is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Plant Technology at Quantafuel since August 2021, where leadership in pioneering chemical recycling of plastic waste is emphasized. Prior experience includes a role as Engineering Manager at Linde Engineering from August 2010 to May 2021, overseeing large-scale engineering projects in LNG, ammonia, and hydrogen plants. René also held the positions of Package Responsible Engineer and Graduate Trainee at Linde, gaining extensive technical expertise across various engineering disciplines. Additional experience includes a Visiting Associate role at The Boston Consulting Group, an internship at BASF, and another at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics.
