RUOYING LU

RUOYING LU has held various roles in the scientific field since 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at University of California, Riverside, where they identified a novel cytochrome P450 gene involved in development and constructed gene-editing tools and used Drosophila mutagenesis by CRISPR followed by phenotypic and behavioral analysis. From 2014 to 2019, they held three Graduate Student Researcher roles at University of California, Riverside. From 2019 to 2020, they held two roles at Complete Genomics Inc., Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher. Most recently, they have been a Senior Scientist at Quantapore Inc. since 2020.

RUOYING LU obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bio-science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology between 2009 and 2013. RUOYING then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Riverside between 2013 and 2019. In May 2019, they also obtained a certification in Python for Genomic Data Science from Coursera.
