Hong Ni has extensive work experience in various roles related to research and development in the field of healthcare and biotechnology. Hong is currently working as the Director of the Accelerator Lab at Quanterix. Prior to this, they held roles such as Group Manager in the R&D Department at Myriad RBM, where they oversaw assay development and validation and managed the daily operations of the department. Hong also worked as the Lab Manager in the Development team, where they streamlined the assay development and manufacturing processes. Before joining Myriad RBM, Hong Ni worked as a Senior Scientist in the Molecular Probes Product Development team at Ventana Medical Systems, where they developed oncology biomarkers and co-authored patents for IVD products. Hong has also worked as a Scientist at BD Technology. Additionally, Hong Ni has worked at GSK as a Principal Scientist in Investigative Toxicology and Pathology, where they managed the gene expression microarray central lab and performed translational biomarker assay development. Hong also served as a Senior Scientist in Preclinical Toxicogenomics, conducting toxicity studies. Prior to entering the industry, Hong Ni worked as a Research Specialist in the Cystic Fibrosis Gene Therapy Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Hong Ni completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology at Jilin University from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biological Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1995 to 1997.
