Ioannis Karmas

Ioannis Karmas has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Ioannis began their career as a Rotational Summer Intern at Estee Lauder Hellas S.A. in 2015. In 2018, they joined PwC Greece as an Assurance | Financial Services professional. Ioannis later served as a Seaman - Finance Administrator in the Hellenic Navy from November 2020 to July 2021. In 2022, they worked part-time as a Data Scientist at Plymouth Rock Assurance before transitioning to a full-time role in the same position. Currently, they are employed as a Financial Solutions Consultant at Quantifi, Inc. from February 2023 onwards.

Ioannis Karmas pursued their education in a sequential manner. Ioannis first attended Protipo Ekpedeutirio Athinon High School in Greece from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained their "Apolytirio Genikoy Lykeioy" degree. After completing their high school education, Ioannis enrolled in Athens University of Economics and Business for their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance, with a major in Finance. Ioannis studied at the university from 2015 to 2020.

In terms of additional certifications, Ioannis obtained the "B1 Zertifikat Deutsch Zeugnis" from Goethe-Institut e.V. in August 2013. Later, in August 2020, they received a "Certificate in Data Analysis and Programming in Python" from Athens University of Economics and Business. More recently, in December 2021, Ioannis completed the "Bloomberg Market Concepts" certification offered by Bloomberg LP. Additionally, they also obtained the "IELTS Academic" qualification from IELTS Official in July 2020.

Currently, Ioannis is pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematical Finance & Financial Technology at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Ioannis began their studies in 2021 and is expected to complete the program in 2023.
