Bianka Grange has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Bianka began their career at Finity Consulting in 2007, where they worked as an Actuarial Analyst for six months. In this role, they conducted profitability analysis, developed tools for performance reviews, and supported data manipulation and reconciliation for a client's claims reserves valuation.
In 2007, Bianka joined Suncorp Group and held various roles over the years. Bianka started as an Actuarial Analyst, focusing on the Corporate and SME portfolio's long-tail classes. Bianka'sresponsibilities included supporting portfolio managers in profitability and pricing recommendations, as well as statutory functions for APRA required provisions. Bianka also worked on a large-scale pricing project across the entire SME portfolio.
Bianka progressed within Suncorp Group and took on roles such as a Portfolio Analyst for Casualty Liability, where they provided advice and support to the Portfolio Manager for analytics and pricing methodology. Bianka was also a Pricing Leader, providing pricing and performance monitoring support to the SME business. Additionally, they served as a Senior Leader, leading the Commercial Insurance Business Insights and Pricing Analytics department, with a focus on non-statutory commercial insurance products. In this role, they provided strategic direction to a newly formed team and function.
From 2013 to 2014, Bianka became a Leader in Portfolio Analytics and Optimization at Suncorp Group. In this position, they were responsible for providing sophisticated advice and recommendations on optimal pricing and profitability for a $1.5 billion Commercial Insurance Portfolio (excluding statutory lines).
Most recently, in 2021, Bianka joined Quantium as an Executive Manager in Commercial Insurance. Bianka'srole involves managing the commercial insurance division and developing strategic insights to drive growth, profitability, and customer value.

Bianka Grange completed their Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a major in Actuarial Studies and Finance at UNSW from 2004 to 2007. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Sydney, starting in 2021.
