Stuart Kennedy

Stuart Kennedy has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Stuart started their career as a Software Engineer at Bridgeall in October 2012 and worked there until September 2015. During their time at Bridgeall, Stuart undertook training courses in C# ASP.NET, SQL Server, Dynamics CRM, and SharePoint. Stuart played a key role in a large and complex C# ASP.NET project.

In 2011, Stuart joined the University of Glasgow to pursue an MSc in Software Development. During this program, they gained a high level of understanding in multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, and XML. Stuart also acquired skills related to the development process of software systems and their deployment in live environments.

Since 2015, Stuart has been working at Quantium. Stuart started as a Software Developer and then progressed to the role of Senior Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Engineering Lead, starting in April 2023. No end dates are specified for their roles at Quantium, indicating that they are currently employed there.

Stuart Kennedy's education history begins with their attendance at Westhill Academy from 1999 to 2005, where they did not receive a specific degree. Later, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy (MA) at the University of Glasgow. After completing their undergraduate studies, Stuart continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Software Development in the year 2012. Alongside their formal education, Stuart earned additional certifications in Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Functional Program Design in Scala, and Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark. These certifications were obtained from Coursera in 2018.
