Gabriela Vives

Gabriela Vives is a User Experience Researcher and Designer at QuantStack, where responsibilities include user research and design for open source projects such as JupyterLab and Binder since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a User Experience Designer at Schlumberger, focusing on international user research methodologies, and as a UX Engineer Intern, where engagement with project managers and developers ensured software met user experience standards. Additional experience at CHANEL involved a cognitive science internship centered on automatic Speech Emotion Recognition, complemented by a research internship at The University of Auckland. Gabriela holds multiple master's degrees in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, and Nuclear Energy Engineering from recognized institutions.
