Mattia Montagna

Mattia Montagna has a diverse work experience. Mattia began their career as a Researcher at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in 2011, where they worked until 2014. Following this, they joined the European Central Bank as a Financial Stability Expert, and later became a Principal Financial Stability Expert. In 2018, they joined the University of Toronto as a Postdoctoral Fellow and continued in this role until 2022. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Quantum Bridge Technologies.

Mattia Montagna completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics at the Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori in Pavia from 2006 to 2011. Following that, from 2011 to 2014, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Quantitative Economics at Kiel University. Most recently, from 2017 to 2018, they attended the University of Toronto, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics.
