Brent Colvin

Brent Colvin is a seasoned Software Engineer with extensive experience in application level software development for materials characterization instrumentation, currently with Quantum Design since February 2005. At Quantum Design, Brent has been responsible for the development and maintenance of the MultiVu automation software across various platforms including PPMS, VersaLab, MPMS3, and Dynacool. Prior to this role, Brent worked at CHI Systems from August 2001 to July 2004, focusing on the creation of innovative software for military command and control applications. Brent holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from CSU San Marcos, earned between 1998 and 2001, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 1992.
