Kris Werner

Kris Werner is an accomplished marine industry professional with extensive experience managing operations and sales within the sailing and yacht sectors. Currently serving as the Great Lakes Regional Manager for Quantum Sails since October 2023, Kris also owns and leads Quantum Sails Rochester, a premier sail loft established in May 2015, providing high-quality sail and canvas services across the Great Lakes region. Previous roles include Sales Executive at Haarstick Sailmakers, Yacht Broker at RCR Yachts, Chief Officer at Bay Ferries Great Lakes, and 2nd Officer at Overseas Shipholding Group. Kris began a career in marine management as the Waterfront Director at SUNY Maritime College, overseeing a significant marina facility and coaching varsity sailing teams. Kris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marine Transportation and Business from the State University of New York Maritime College.
