Sebastien Olive

Sebastien Olive has over 8 years of experience in engineering and design. From 2017 to present, they have been a Lead System Designer, System Engineer, and Mechanical & Hardware Engineer at Quantum Surgical SAS. From 2016 to 2017, they were a R&D Engineer - Mechanic & Robotic Design at Zimmer Biomet. From 2012 to 2016, they were a R&D Engineer - Mechanic & Robotic Design at Medtech SA, where they were a member of the ROSA robot R&D team and used their creativity and multidisciplinary skills to make sure that ROSA fully complied with specifications and met customers' needs. Sebastien also held the role of Stagiaire et Projet de Fin d'Étude. In 2012, they were a Stagiaire at Safran, where they were attached to the research and development service in automotive safety and participated in the design of a pyrotechnic gas ejector, a test bench for characterizing the behavior of a hood lift cylinder, and a reusable pyrotechnic gas generator.

Sebastien Olive's education history is as follows: From 2008 to 2010, they attended UPVD Alumni, where they obtained a 2eme année licence science physique et technologies de l'ingénieur in Physique fondamentale & Electronique Electrotechnique et Automatique.
