William Collins

William Collins has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. William is currently working as a Research Scientist at QuantuMDx since March 2022. Before this, they held the position of Molecular Biology and Virology QC Analyst III at Covance from September 2019 to March 2022, where they performed analytical testing on cell and gene therapy molecules and vaccines.

Prior to their role at Covance, William worked as a Graduate Tutor at Wanganui Collegiate School from September 2018 to July 2019, where they provided academic support to students. William also worked as a Senior Mentor at The Challenge during the summers of 2016 and 2017, taking on the responsibility of leading and motivating groups of teenagers during a 4-week program.

Apart from their professional roles, William gained experience as a Bartender at THORNHILL CRICKET AND BOWLING CLUB LIMITED from August 2015 to August 2017, serving customers and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar. William also worked as a Sales Assistant at Clarks during their university holidays in the second year of their undergraduate degree, ensuring the shop floor remained tidy and serving customers.

Lastly, William had work experience as a student at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary Physiotherapy Department and The Morley Academy PE Department in April and May 2013, respectively.

William Collins completed their education history with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics from the University of Nottingham, which they attended from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Human Biology from Loughborough University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Their secondary education was completed at St. John Fisher Catholic High School, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, William obtained a Grade 7 Oboe certification from Trinity Music Center in May 2012.
