Joy Oh

Joy Oh has work experience in various engineering roles. In 2016, they worked as an intern at Green Logic. From 2019 to 2020, they were an undergraduate research assistant at the Earthman Lab and also served as a Project Manager for the Mass Transfer Project, where they analyzed ocean acidification and predicted the future of coral reefs. In 2019, they were the Nickel Oxide Team Lead for the UCI Spacecraft Thermal Management Systems project, focusing on developing a nickel oxide thin layer for a variable emissivity device. In 2020, they participated in the Chemical Engineering Design Project, optimizing the design of a crude distillation unit. Currently, since November 2021, they are working as an Associate Process Engineer for QuantumScape.

Joy Oh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Irvine, studying from 2017 to 2020.
