Alexandre Krajenbrink

Alexandre Krajenbrink has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quantum technologies. Alexandre is currently working as a Scientific Project Manager and Senior Research Scientist at Quantinuum since February 2022. Alexandre is also serving as the Secretary General and Founder of QuantX, an alumni society of the École polytechnique dedicated to animating the French quantum ecosystem.

Prior to their current roles, Alexandre was a Postdoctoral Fellow at SISSA, where they conducted research on out-of-equilibrium quantum systems and conformal field theory. Alexandre also served as a McDuff Postdoctoral Fellow at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, focusing on universality and integrability in random matrix theory and interacting particle systems.

Alexandre has held positions at prestigious organizations such as Cambridge Quantum, where they worked as a Scientific Project Manager and Senior Research Scientist. Alexandre also served as a Research Fellow and later as the President of QuantX Investment.

Additionally, Alexandre has experience in education as a Physics Teaching Assistant at École normale supérieure. Alexandre has also been involved in various roles at Le Lab Quantique, including Vice President of Special Projects and Vice President of Training & Education.

In 2023, Alexandre co-founded Les Maisons du Quantique, the first physical space dedicated to Quantum Technologies, where they collaborate with stakeholders in the field.

Alexandre Krajenbrink obtained a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics and Random Matrix Theory from Ecole Normale Supérieure, where they studied at the Laboratoire de Physique Théorique from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Advanced Study in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge from 2015 to 2016. Alexandre also earned a Master of Science degree from École Polytechnique, specializing in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, and Humanities, from 2012 to 2016. Alexandre began their educational journey by attending Lycée Sainte-Geneviève, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in preparatory classes (PCSI-PC*) from 2010 to 2012.
