Jan Martijn Metselaar

Jan Martijn Metselaar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications and technology industry. Jan Martijn currently works at Quanza as the COO, where they are responsible for the overall operations of the company. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Technology, leading the development and implementation of technological advancements at Quanza. Before joining Quanza, Jan Martijn held the position of Manager Engineering at the same company, where they played a crucial role in the design, construction, and maintenance of network, security, and systems solutions.

Earlier in their career, Jan Martijn worked at Eurofiber as the Director of Network Operator Eurofiber Group. In this role, they were responsible for the design, construction, and management of the company's network infrastructure in the Benelux region, providing various connectivity services to organizations.

Jan Martijn also has experience working at T-Mobile Nederland, where they served as the Manager of Project Management. Jan Martijn was involved in the transformation of Vodafone Thuis into T-Mobile Thuis, overseeing project management and financial administration.

At Vodafone Netherlands, Jan Martijn held the position of Program Manager and was responsible for implementing the Fiber-to-the-Home network and integrating Glasoperator into Vodafone's fixed proposition. Jan Martijn was also part of the Governance and Demand Management team, helping shape the technology evolution plan and budget for fixed services.

Before their time at Vodafone, Jan Martijn worked at Winitu Consulting as a Managing Consultant, gaining valuable experience in consultancy and project management. Jan Martijn also held various roles at Gemeente Amsterdam, including Project Manager for ICT Infrastructure during the 'Troonswisseling' event and Manager of Architecture and Technology Policies.

Prior to these roles, Jan Martijn held positions at Tiscali, BaByXL Broadband DSL, and KPN Telecom, where they worked as a Network Architect, Service Developer, and Senior Network Architect, respectively.

Jan Martijn Metselaar holds a Master's Degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they obtained from 1989 to 1996. Jan Martijn also completed an Executive MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2008 to 2009. In addition, Metselaar holds a certification as a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE#3667 Emeritus) from Cisco Systems, obtained in 1998.
