Samuel Hangouët began their career in 2005 working as an R&D Engineer at Teleca YacCom. In 2007, they joined SILICOM SAS as an Ingénieur d'Etudes and worked on various studies such as IPv6 conformance, forensics tools, architecture and software quality. In 2008, they moved to CAPS entreprise as a Scrum Master and C++ expert. Here, they were responsible for steering the transition to the SCRUM agile method and supervised the software development team. In 2014, they became the CEO and co-founder of Insane Unity SA, a former French video game developer, and hired 12 full-time employees. In 2017, they joined SILICOM SAS again as an AI Research Engineer and worked on dynamic malwares classification using Reinforcement Learning and Genetic Programming. In 2018, they moved to DGA - Direction générale de l'armement as an Artificial Intelligence expert and was responsible for management of a small team of Deep Reinforcement Learning and optimisation experts and applying AI research advances to defense needs. In 2022, they will join Quarkslab as a Cyber Security Engineer.
Samuel Hangouët attended Grenoble INP - UGA from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a degree in ENSERG (nouvellement Phelma), specializing in Physics, Microelectronics, Computer Science, and Systems-on-Chip.
