Thomas Overfield

Thomas Overfield has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Thomas currently holds the position of Director Of Engineering at Quativa, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Quativa from October 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Quativa, Thomas worked at BAM Technologies, LLC as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining Talent Marketplace, an application used for Air Force officer assignments.

Thomas also gained experience as a Software Engineer at AVNIK Defense Solutions, Inc. from November 2018 to March 2020. Thomas played a key role in leading a team of developers and upgrading a legacy ASP.NET MVC application to a Vue.js application.

Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer at Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure from January 2017 to November 2018.

Thomas began their career as a Web and Mobile Developer at Auburn University from May 2014 to December 2016. Thomas was part of a team responsible for maintaining and creating web/mobile applications using the .NET MVC technology stack.

Thomas Overfield obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Auburn University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they have received several certifications from Agile Education by Scrum Inc. In August 2022, they obtained the Registered Scrum Master™ certification. In October 2022, they obtained the Registered Scrum@Scale Practitioner™ certification. Lastly, in November 2022, they obtained the Registered Scrum Master@Scale™ certification.
