Alex MacGregor

Alex MacGregor has a range of work experience in the energy and technology industries. Alex currently serves as the CEO of Qube Technologies, where they oversee the development and implementation of an industrial internet of things (IIoT) device that uses artificial intelligence to detect and reduce greenhouse gas emissions at oil and gas facilities. Prior to their current role, Alex worked at Ambyint as the Canadian Sales Manager and Business Development Manager. Alex also has experience as a Consultant at 3esi-Enersight, a production engineer at Clearbrook Resources, and a reservoir engineer-in-training at Enhance Energy. Additionally, Alex has previous internship experience as a Summer Engineering Intern at PumpWell Solutions Ltd. and a Summer Student Analyst at Tristone Capital.

Alex MacGregor holds a Masters of Science degree in Analytics from Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Geological Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Additionally, Alex's education history includes their attendance at The University of Edinburgh, although the specific degree and field of study remain unknown.
