Utpal Bhatt

Utpal Bhatt is the SVP of Marketing at Qubole. Prior to joining Qubole, they were the VP of Global Marketing at Neo4j from May 2014 to February 2018. Utpal was responsible for all marketing efforts at Neo4j, which included awareness, adoption, demand generation, loyalty, and customer appreciation. Utpal also oversaw marketing strategy, research, budgeting, positioning and messaging, public and analyst relations, growth marketing, and lead generation.

Under Utpal's leadership, Neo4j became the fastest growing database category and was featured in Gartner's "Magic Quadrant" for operational databases three years in a row. Utpal also implemented a state of the art marketing technology stack and built a pipeline to drive a 10x increase in revenue.

Utpal Bhatt completed their MBA at The Wharton School in the field of strategy and marketing. Prior to that, they earned their Master's Degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Utpal also has a Masters in Physics from GLS.

Utpal Bhatt reports to Ashish Thusoo, Co-Founder and CEO. Utpal Bhatt works with Namit Jain - SVP, Engineering, Mohit Bhatnagar - SVP, Product, and Joydeep Sen Sarma - Co-Founder and Head of Qubole India.
