Kimaada Le Gendre currently serves as the Director of Education & Community Engagement at the Queens Museum, where responsibilities have included directing educational initiatives and engaging with the community since January 2020. Kimaada is also a Fellow at 92NY Women inPower, a Member of ForbesBLK, and a Curriculum Developer at BazanEd, contributing to the official Curriculum Guide for the film "Till." Active in leadership roles, Kimaada holds board positions with the Museum Education Roundtable and the Museums Council of New York City. Previous experience includes serving as an Educational Consultant and as the Environmental Education Director & History Teacher at Cambria School of Excellence Inc. Kimaada holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Hunter College, a Master's in Environmental Law & Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation at Marymount University.
