Lee McCarthy

Lee McCarthy has extensive experience in football recruitment, currently serving as the Assistant Head of Academy Recruitment and Pre-Academy Scout Co-Ordinator at QPR FC since December 2015. Prior to this role, McCarthy worked as an Academy Scout at Brentford Football Club from June 2013 to November 2015 and at Barnet FC from October 2012 to June 2013. Earlier in the career, McCarthy was a Regional Training Facilitator and Health Adviser (Exercise Physiologist) at Bupa from January 2008 to October 2012. McCarthy holds a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Brighton and completed education at Gunnersbury Catholic School from 1997 to 2004.
