Amber McCart is an accomplished mental health professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the child and youth mental health sector. Currently serving as Senior Clinician and Manager of Mental Health at Queen's University since May 2020, Amber previously held the position of Director for Child and Youth Mental Health Services at Maltby Centre from January 2013 to May 2020. In this role, Amber contributed to designing a high-quality service system and led the community's "Moving on Mental Health Task Force." Earlier, Amber managed programs and services at Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth from 2008 to 2013, where transformational leadership enhanced client engagement with therapy. As Program Director at Children's Mental Health of Leeds and Grenville from 1996 to 2008, Amber was pivotal in developing core service models and supervising clinical teams. Educational credentials include a Certificate Program in Public Sector Leadership from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University, and a Master's degree in Public Ethics from Saint Paul University - University of Ottawa.
