Pete Nelson

Pete Nelson is an experienced professional in cyber security and information technology, currently serving as the Cyber Risk and Audit Manager at Queensland Airports Limited since July 2023. Previously, Pete held the role of Chief Information Officer at G8 Education Ltd from March 2016 to July 2023, contributing to the development of IT and business system strategies. Pete's extensive career includes significant positions such as Group ICT Manager at Queensland Airports Limited and IT Manager at Gold Coast Airport. Additionally, Pete has a longstanding commitment to community service as a volunteer surf lifesaver and certified Patrol Captain at Currumbin Beach Vikings Surf Life Saving Club since 2002.
