Dane Oman

Dane Oman has over 20 years of work experience in various roles, primarily in the field of education. Dane is currently the Dean of Students at Saint Stephen's College since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Examiner and Lead Confirmer for Economics at Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) starting in 2020. From 2010 to 2022, they held multiple roles at Somerset College, including Head of Entrepreneurship, Assistant Head of Department for Business and Humanities, Head of House for Laver House, and Pre-service Teacher Programme Coordinator. Dane also worked as an Economics Examination Marker for The International Baccalaureate from 2011 to 2015. In 2009, they pursued a Master of Education degree with a focus on eLearning and Leadership at the University of New England (AU), which they completed in 2012. Dane also participated in the National Excellence in School Leadership program in 2017. Most recently, in 2021, Dane attended St Margaret's Anglican Girls School, where they completed an Educational Leadership Course in the field of Educational Leadership and Administration. Dane attended Palm Beach Currumbin State High School from 1993 to 1997, but the details of their major or degree are not provided.
