Donna Elkington

Donna Elkington is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Dean of Learning and Teaching at Iona College Brisbane since January 2015. Previously, Donna held the roles of Head of Learning & Teaching for Middle Years and Lead Teacher for Years 7 & 8 at the same institution. Additionally, since March 2021, Donna has been involved with the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority as a Confirmer and External Marker in Economics. Donna's earlier career included positions as a Primary School Teacher and School Officer at Brisbane Catholic Education from July 2007 to December 2014, and as a Customer Service Specialist at Commonwealth Bank from March 1997 to July 2007. Donna's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma of Education (Middle Years) and a Bachelor of Business (Economics), both obtained from the Queensland University of Technology.
