Jesús Bergas Paz has extensive work experience in the field of education and language instruction. Jesús started their career at Localia Television as an Editor and Newsreader. Jesús then transitioned into the field of education, working as a Teacher of Spanish at Indooroopilly State High School. Jesús also served as the Spanish immersion coordinator and later became the Head of International Studies in the Languages department.
In 2012, Jesús joined the University of Queensland as a Tutor and simultaneously took on the role of Head of Languages and International Baccalaureate Coordinator at Indooroopilly SHS. Jesús held these positions until 2016.
Jesús also worked at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA), where they served as the Chief Confirmer and Endorser for Spanish. Jesús later became the State Panel Chair for Languages Spanish. Jesús continues to hold these positions. Additionally, Jesús joined Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) as the Head of Department for Spanish in the Senior School.
Throughout their career, Jesús has demonstrated a strong commitment to education and language instruction.
Jesús Bergas Paz studied Journalism at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 1995 to 1999.
