Research Associate - Process Development at QuellTX

Philip Janusz began their work experience as a Research Intern at Birkbeck, University of London in 2017, assisting in a follow-up project focused on the modulation of reactivity in the cavity of liposomes. Philip then moved on to Middlesex University, where they worked as a Student Learning Assistant, tutoring in physiology, chemistry, and laboratory techniques classes. Philip also completed a Bachelor Thesis studying the influence of ATG genes on senescent-linked drug resistance in osteosarcoma.

In 2019, Philip joined Leiden University as a Research Intern, actively participating in primary research on lipid metabolism and cardiovascular diseases. Philip investigated an early drug candidate and independently planned and drew conclusions from experiments.

The following year, Philip interned at Batavia Biosciences as a Strategy Intern, building business cases for expansion projects and designing methodologies for business case analysis.

Philip then worked at Accord Healthcare as a Commercial Analyst, conducting commercial analysis and contributing to company strategy until February 2023.

Finally, Philip joined Quell Therapeutics as a Research Associate in Process Development in March 2023.

Philip Janusz completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology at the University of Warsaw in 2016. Philip then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Molecular Biology at Middlesex University from 2016 to 2019. Following this, they enrolled at Leiden University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences and Science Based Business from 2019 to 2021.
