Thomas Karolyshyn has been working in the engineering field since 2000. Thomas began their career as an Electrical Engineer Intern at GN Nettest, where they worked on evaluation and debugging of network analyzer equipment. In the same year, they also worked as an FPGA Design Intern at Avnet Electronics, where they designed FPGAs to customer specifications. In 2004, they joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory as a Technical Staff, where they specialized in FPGA and Embedded software design as well as component level architecture, design and debug. Thomas developed, prototyped, and fielded several camera systems. Currently, they are working as an Electrical Engineer at QuEra Computing Inc. and as an FPGA & Embedded Systems Engineer at Analog Photonics.
Thomas Karolyshyn obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2002. Thomas then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2003.
