Aaliyah Eaves

Aaliyah Eaves, JD, LLM, PhD, HEC-C, currently serves as the Executive Director and Chief FDA Counsel at Quest Diagnostics since April 2022, with previous roles including Senior Corporate Counsel. Aaliyah is an active Committee Member of the Ethics and Professionalism Committee at the American Board of Medical Specialties since July 2020 and was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences from August 2021 to September 2022. Prior experience includes partnership in the Healthcare Practice Group at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, focusing on life sciences regulation and bioethics consultancy, and serving as a Healthcare Resolutions Specialist for the US Army, where Aaliyah negotiated healthcare conflicts and provided ethics consultations. Earlier roles involved advising on regulatory policies at the FDA and managing risk and patient advocacy programs at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Aaliyah holds a JD from the University of Kentucky, an LLM in Health Law from Indiana University, and a PhD in Health Care Ethics from Saint Louis University, along with a BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University.
