Alex C. has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Alex began their career at Gap Inc., where they served as a Store Manager and District Trainer for eight years, managing operational standards and leading a team. Alex then moved to Hess, where they worked as a District Manager and Marketing Representative, overseeing a $72 million district and implementing customer service improvement programs.
After their time at Hess, Alex joined Grupo Unicomer / Unicomer Group as a Regional Country Operations Manager, managing the local operations of retail brands across multiple states and achieving an average EBITDA of 8%. Alex then transitioned to 7-Eleven as a Consultant, providing strategic partnership and management consulting to franchisees and corporate managers in the South Florida market. Alex served as a subject matter expert in various categories, including alcohol.
In 2020, Alex joined DMEconnected, initially as the Head of Operations and later as an Advisory Board Member. In their role as Head of Operations, they served as a business planner and senior advisor to the CEO, consulting on business development and achieving user growth targets. Alex also acquired patent-pending status for the company's proprietary software named Acacia.
Most recently, Alex joined Quest Health Solutions as the Chief Operations Officer. Quest Health Solutions is a leading provider of Continuous Glucose Monitors, and Alex takes pride in managing the operations to help patients and healthcare professionals better manage diabetes.
Alex C. attended Howard University from 2001 to 2005, where they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management with a focus on Business Management. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Cybersecurity Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2021, and a Real Estate License from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in August 2020.
