Alexi Huntley Khajavi has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality, travel, and sustainability sectors. They currently serve as the President of Hospitality, Travel & Wellness at Questex, where they lead the Hospitality and Travel Groups. They also hold advisory and board positions at organizations such as the Energy & Environment Alliance and the International Luxury Hotel Association.
Previously, Alexi worked as the Director of Executive Board at Sustainable Travel International, where they focused on promoting sustainability in the travel industry. They also served as a Senior Business Advisor at the Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard School of Public Health, leading an international initiative on the public health implications of tourism growth.
Alexi has also been involved in the development of sustainable tourism practices as the Co-Founder and President of Nature Vacations and as a Director on the Board of the Center for Responsible Travel. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Marketing Officer at Nature Air Costa Rica Airline and as the Vice President of Global Strategy at MERCURYcsc.
Throughout their career, Alexi has demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting sustainable and responsible tourism practices, collaborating with various stakeholders to drive positive change in the industry.
Alexi Huntley Khajavi graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Conservation Biology.
