Faruk Ahmed

Faruk Ahmed is an accomplished academic and technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering, project management, and teaching. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Instructor at The University of Memphis since September 2019, Ahmed has previously held various roles including Consultant at Questivity and Programmer Analyst II at Shelby County Government. With a strong technical background, positions include software engineering at Stanford University, where Ahmed developed critical web applications, and at Intel Corporation, where skills were honed through internships focused on enhancing software tools and performance monitoring. Ahmed's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Engineering and a master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Memphis, as well as a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Science from Jahangirnagar University.
