Gary Harvat

In his role as Vice President of Client Success, Gary Harvat leads the Client Success Team who works with their clients and their QMC Billing Team to provide excellent service they would be proud to recommend. He is committed to the success of every client relationship.

Gary has 30 years of healthcare management experience in the areas of emergency medical communications, pre-hospital services, air medical, security, outreach and patient transport. He speaks at regional, statewide and national EMS Conferences on varied topics including priority dispatch procedures and his hospital’s experience with the timely pre-hospital management of ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) patients.

Gary has served on work groups that contributed to Pennsylvania’s original EMS Act in the 1980’s and as a Board Member for Emergency Medical Services Institute (EMSI) (from 1999-2003 and 2011-2015). He attended the Community College of Allegheny County and is a retired Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a paramedic instructor. Gary is a Certified Medical Transport Executive with the MTLI.
