Yi Yang

Yi Yang is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in project and systems engineering within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Hardware System/Project Engineer at Quick Release since December 2022, Yi Yang is responsible for defining project scopes and leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery within budget. Previously, at Ford Australia, from June 2016 to August 2022, Yi Yang worked on various vehicle projects, managing the entire project lifecycle from conception to field testing support. Yi Yang also contributed to significant vehicle system projects at GM PATAC from August 2008 to February 2016 and addressed mechanical engineering challenges as a Manufacturing Engineer at YFPO Automotive Exterior. Academically, Yi Yang holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics from China Ship Research Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
