Tim Bowman

Tim Bowman has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Tim currently serves as the Outsourced Engineering Director at Quickparts, where they lead a team responsible for design for manufacturing and physical manufacturing of client projects. Tim also aligns the team around a clear vision and purpose to achieve organizational objectives.

Previously, Tim worked at Xometry as the CNC Applications Engineering Manager. In this role, they proposed and planned processes for timely and accurate component production. Tim also assessed manufacturing technology suitability and capability, ensuring alignment with process capability.

Before Xometry, Tim worked at Ingersoll Rand as an Engineering Technician and later as a Machining Supervisor. As an Engineering Technician, they created and designed processes to optimize machined component output. As a Machining Supervisor, they strategically led a team of 76 machinists, training, coaching, and motivating individuals.

Tim also worked at Fletcher Industries as a Manufacturing Engineer and CNC specialist, focusing on increasing quality and throughput of manufacturing equipment. And they worked at DANA SPICER CLARK HURTH as a CNC Engineering Manager, where they led a team in optimizing component design for manufacturing and adjusted processes in-house.

Tim Bowman attended Dana University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Machining Technologies. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1997, they attended Mitchell Community College and earned an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
