Amit Chaurasia

Amit Chaurasia is a Principal Software Development Engineer at QuillBot. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of AI Engineering – IN (Associate Director) at Saxo Group - India from September 2016 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the architectural design, development & implementation of AI-powered chat bots, virtual assistants.

Chaurasia was instrumental in establishing a strong self-service bots ecosystem with supplementary human agent transfer integration & human to human chat. Amit also oversaw the end-to-end implementation of Anywhere 365 Enterprise Dialogue Management & Contact Centre for a unified support desk on voice & instant messaging chat integrated with Skype For Business, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, MS Dynamics 365 CRM.

In addition, they ran a systematic technical vetting program to assess various technology platforms like Amazon Lex, Google Dialog flow, Facebook Wit.ai, Clare.ai, etc to formulate high-quality solutions with a combination of the best technology. Their other responsibilities included achieve industrialization of core solutions across different business verticals & for our partners; integration with Machine Learning based in-house developed Recommendation Engine to provide highly personalized content to the users based on their interests, interaction, trading practices; and ownership of deliverables related to Community Engagement web application for Traders & Investors.
