Stephane TYC has a long and varied career in the financial industry. Stephane started with Thales in 1989, doing Fundamental Research. From 1994 to 2010, they worked at BNP Paribas, where they were a Managing Director and had responsibility for low latency trading and High Performance Computing, design of the ALM of Capital Markets, and regulatory impact on OTC and listed trading infrastructures. In 2010, they joined the board of directors of DTCC Warehouse Trust. In 2012, they co-founded Quincy Data, LLC, a leading microwave distributor of extremely low latency market data, and McKay Brothers, LLC, a private, independent specialty microwave telecom company dedicated to designing, engineering, building and operating best-in-class low latency networks connecting financial centers.
Stephane TYC completed their education history with a PhD in Physics from Harvard University between 1984 and 1989. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Engineering from CentraleSupélec between 1981 and 1984. Stephane began their educational journey at Ecole Alsacienne, Paris, where they obtained a Baccalauréat S between 1966 and 1979.
